Course Description:

The Oklahoma Home Care Administrator Preparedness and Assessment Program (OHCAPA) Continuing Education Unit (CEU) Course is a two-week program comprising a 12-clock hour hybrid training designed to meet the state-mandated annual continuing education requirements for OHCAPA license renewal.

This course provides essential knowledge in home health administration, regulatory compliance, leadership, fiscal management, and legal and ethical responsibilities, ensuring that home care administrators remain compliant with both state and federal regulations.

Course Structure:

📌 Online Learning (6 Clock Hours) – Self-Paced Over 2 Weeks

• Participants will complete video lectures, reading assignments, quizzes, and case studies covering core home health administration topics.

📌 Live In-Class Training (6 Clock Hours) – One-Day Session (In-Person or Virtual)

• This session is conducted in a single day and can be attended either in person at our training facility or virtually via live-streamed instruction.

• The in-class training includes interactive discussions, regulatory compliance exercises, and case scenario applications to reinforce key learning objectives.

• Oklahoma Home Care Act (Title 63, Section 1-1960 et seq.)

• State Operations Manual (Appendices B & Q) – Compliance & Immediate Jeopardy

• Accreditation and Certification Processes (Medicare & Accreditation Agencies)
