ADMISSION INFORMATION

Students enrolled at MedNoc Training College must meet general minimum requirements. Additionally, students must satisfy all specific program/course prerequisites, educational requirements, certifications, and age limits. MTC offers post-secondary education aimed at providing training in healthcare careers.

Concurrent enrollment in the Certified Nursing Aide Program is permitted for high school students. MTC also provides training to high school seniors awaiting their completion of secondary education. 

High school seniors must provide evidence of current high school enrollment to enroll at MedNoc Training College. High school seniors below 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian present during enrollment to sign the required documents.

General Admission Requirements:

  1. Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
  2. Complete application.
  3. Submit two forms of identification: one must be a current government-issued photo ID, and the other must be a copy of the original Social Security Card.
  4. Criminal background check.
  5. School uniform is required if your program includes skills or clinicals.
  6. TB skin screen test, or a negative TB chest X-ray if the skin screen test is positive.
  7. High school diploma, GED, or another equivalency, or higher (except for the CNA program; concurrent students must be approved by MTC as described above).
  8. Eighteen years or older, except for CNA.
  9. Current BLS/CPR card for all courses exceeding 40 clock hours.
  10. Students below 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian physically present to sign the student’s enrollment paperwork. The parent or legal guardian must also submit two forms of ID (one must be a current government-issued photo ID, and the other must be a copy of the original Social Security Card).
  11. Drug test screening may be required for some programs with clinical components.
  12. Physical and mental capability to safely perform duties.
  13. Depending on the clinical training facility, flu shot records may be required during flu season.
  14. Some programs/courses may require specific immunization records or titers. Please check with our Student Admissions Counselor during enrollment.
  15. The student must demonstrate adequate arrangements to pay for training and testing costs, e.g., self-paid or sponsored.
