MedNoc Training College Partners with Federally Recognized Native American Tribes to Provide Financial Assistance

Financial Assistance Native American Tribes

At MedNoc Training College, we are proud to partner with all federally recognized Native American tribes to expand educational opportunities for Native American students. Through these partnerships, eligible students can receive financial assistance to help cover the cost of tuition, books, fees, and other program-related expenses—making it easier to start and complete a career-focused healthcare education.

Empowering Native American Students

We understand the importance of accessible, high-quality training for those seeking careers in healthcare. Our collaboration with tribal education and workforce development programs ensures that funding resources are available to qualified students, allowing them to focus on their studies without the burden of financial stress.

Partnership with the United Urban Indian Council (UUIC)

In addition to our partnerships with tribes across the country, we also work closely with the United Urban Indian Council (UUIC), located at 7203 S Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73139. The UUIC offers employment, education, and training support for Native American students living in the Oklahoma City area, further increasing access to career training in high-demand healthcare fields.

How the Program Works

  • Eligibility – Students must be enrolled members or descendants of a federally recognized tribe and meet the funding agency’s criteria.

  • Application Support – MedNoc staff coordinate directly with tribal representatives and UUIC advisors to assist with application forms and documentation.

  • Career-Focused Programs – Financial assistance may be applied toward programs such as CNA, CMA, LPN, CCMA, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Medical Billing & Coding, and more.

A Shared Commitment to Success

Our goal is to ensure every eligible Native American student has the opportunity to gain the skills, knowledge, and credentials needed to succeed in healthcare careers. Together with federally recognized tribes and the United Urban Indian Council, we are building pathways to brighter futures—one student at a time.

The United States is home to 574 federally recognized Indian tribes, each possessing its own unique history, culture, language, and government-to-government relationship with the federal government. These tribes, acknowledged by the U.S. Department of the Interior through the Bureau of Indian Affairs, are sovereign nations with the authority to govern their own people, manage resources, and preserve their traditions while engaging in modern economic and educational development. Spread across the country—from Alaska’s vast rural regions to the plains of Oklahoma and the deserts of the Southwest—these tribes represent a rich diversity of Native American and Alaska Native heritage. Federal recognition ensures eligibility for a variety of services, protections, and support programs, empowering each tribe to strengthen its community while contributing to the broader fabric of the nation.
